    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is amazing since it provides the help in understanding the most important concepts of general chemistry. I would highly recommend the systematic study of all the material so as not to fall behind.

    Course highlights:

I loved this course since harder concepts concerning chemistry were broken down so as the understand the important steps.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study more than 5 hours a week. The material is explained thoroughly but studying outside the course is crucial.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're interested in being challenged while also having an opportunity to learn how well what you're learning will relate to your chosen field/future courses then this is a good course to take.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how to study, and how what I was learning would tie in to future coursework and what I would need to focus on to be successful in the future. My favorite unit from this course was Electrochemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The homework and online practice problems are easy points and practice for exams. Definitely make note of exam/due dates, and review everyday if you have the time. Every little bit counts.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally don't enjoy chemistry, but even if I did I would not recommend this chemistry class with this teacher. It was his first time teaching the course when I had him and his course work was really advanced for a general class.

    Course highlights:

Although this class was fairly advanced in my opinion he did really try to help his students and took the time to listen and answer any questions you might have. I learned a lot about the structures of cells and how to use the time independent wave equation. I also like how he explained thins with presentations of experiments in class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor was very helpful, make sure to ask questions for clarification and to go to office hours if you need any further help. There are also a lot of small points for homework that add up so always do all of the homework assigned.
