    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is very well taught, I highly recommend it. It is simple to understand and the content that you learn is very useful in a professional career.

    Course highlights:

The course focuses on updating your resume and cover letter for a potential employer, as well as introducing you to a presentation style resume. It also goes through how to write meeting minutes, how social media effects your job status etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the work, read the textbook and then answer the discussion posts. Post early rather than later so that you get constructive feedback on rough drafts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it focused on how to become better at writing for the professions. This course helped me develop more skills in writing professional e-mails, letters, and other forms of communication in the work force.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make a LinkedIn account and an elevator pitch video to add on my account. My final assignment was to add more content to my resume and to make it look more professional, which was really helpful for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to have the required text with you throughout the course because the weekly assignments cannot be completed without it. The professor does not accept late work, so be sure to always turn in assignments on time. In addition, spend a little bit more time on projects and reviewing them over because even the smallest imperfections will be heavily graded.
