    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very complex and consist of a lot of reading. Research on a social issue is the main point of this course. Quantitative and qualitative research is necessary for this course which makes it difficult to find time to conduct this very prestigious research and work.

    Course highlights:

Learning how to actually conduct a research formulation. We learn about how a research should be conducted. The form of audience it is geared towards. We need to conduct our own surveys and do personal interviews with people who pertain towards our subject. It is a little difficult to come up with a form of question and what forms of action need to be taken to complete conduct a proper research.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest to do all the readings that are assigned and to pay attention to certain details. The quiz's are very specific and very detail picky. We are sometimes told what parts of the chapter to focus on which is some what helpful. Choose a topic for your essay that will be easily testable.

It was a tough course due to it only being six weeks long, however, I enjoyed the fast pace of the class. I also enjoyed the class it self, I learned how to do a literature review among many other things we learned.

    Course highlights:

The class has a lot to do how surveys are made and how researches research certain topics, it was a very interesting class, I truly enjoyed the fast pace of it as well.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is all about self discipline and making the time to review and learn the material. The class requires at least 18 hours a week.
