Mrs. Appel (now Lespron) is an amazing professor. She makes even the hardest concepts fun and easy to understand. She is a radiant person who lights up the room with her genuine smile.
Macronutrient metabolism was one of my favorite course in college simply because it was challenging my understanding of how the human body works. I was amazed at how complex and intricate nutrient digestion is.

Macronutrient metabolism is not an easy course to take. It requires several hours of studying and memorizing biochemical pathways. The best advice I could give to the future students is to pay close attention in class, and read through your notes that same evening before going to bed. This trick always helped me to retain more information discussed during lecture.
