    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was very difficult to follow the teacher's lectures. She is brilliant and loves her field but went into more complicated Linguistics than could be understood by students new to the subject. The best way to combat this problem would be to go the extra mile and look up terms and read the text book carefully. It is a lot of work but very rewarding in the end. Good Luck

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of cool information about how we speak and how different languages use different parts of the mouth to make specific sounds. Also the end of the semester presentation was fun, we had a lot of freedom in our choice of subjects.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read an exorbitant amount of the text book.
