    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is an incredibly interesting class. You learn a lot about the different sides of drug abuse and addiction. Henderson teaches of different types of drugs and their effects. She also teaches the laws behind drug abuse and what our government and police force are doing in order to stop it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that the "War on Drugs" is something that we, as a society, should not stigmatize and turn the other cheek, it is something that we need to pay attention to. We need to ask the questions that really matter. Ones such as, "why is this person abusing drugs?" "is there more that we can be doing to help rehabilitate these people". No one ever wants to grow up to be a drug addict. I learned to see all sides of someone's story before jumping to conclusions and labeling them as a bad person.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes! Pay attention to the lecture. Exams are lecture based so make sure to be taking thorough notes on the subjects. Study often because a lot of the drugs that are gone over sound the same.
