    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I reccomened this course to any living human on this planet. It has taught me so much about our species and the things we have done in our short existence on this planet.

    Course highlights:

The course starts from the very beginning of humanity and works its way all the way up to modern times. It forces you to open your eyes and realize that humans need to analysis their situation on this planet and think of a new plan.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind. Question everything. Think about the world around you in new ways. Search for reasons this course is important to your everyday life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Would recommend, Fong is a pretty good teacher all around and is relatively new to the scene.

    Course highlights:

Read many interesting (at least in my opinion) texts, such as the Ramana which is an ancient Indian spiritual text, and also read a bit of Plato which is not my cup of tea but still a classic in its own sense.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the texts or at least sparknotes, and FOLLOW THE MAN'S INSTRUCTIONS when it comes to writing the essays. The essays are not too hard to write and you can get a good grade, you just have to pinpoint follow what Fong says and you should be fine. The students who get bad grades often times completely ignore the writing template. Also talk a lot in class if you can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Human Event allows the student to explore the history of humans in a philosophical and literary manner.

    Course highlights:

I really loved class discussions because it allowed the class to dig deeper into the readings, often unearthing different ways of thinking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the texts and don't procrastinate on essays
