Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It helps to understand the arguments of ethics from a medical standpoint and you engage in conversations about autonomy and nonmaleficence.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be a proficient writer, reading the instructions are key, always incorporate bioethical principles specifically, became a wizard at using the APA format

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Get ready to write, contact the professor if you do not understand the bioethical principles, learn how to apply them in different scenarios, make sure you read as much of the textbook as possible

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course itself was very interesting. As with most philosophy classes, there are multiple perspectives from different theorists with opposing views and their rationale behind the conclusions they came up with. The actual class was decent. Prepare to read A LOT. The lecture videos are decent, nothing to write home about, but if you read the material and take a few notes, you will be in good shape. The class mostly consists of posting and replying on the discussion board and a few essays. If you enjoy philosophy and are good at arguing through logical perspectives, this class is for you.

    Course highlights:

With Bioethics, topics such as whether to pull the plug on a patient in a vegetative state, abortion, and allocation of medical resources are debated upon. There are many lenses to view bioethics through, and this class really did a good job of sharing different viewpoints on interesting subjects.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare to read. Do the discussion posts and make sure that your writings are logical.
