    Course Overview:

    This course teaches many useful theories of motivation that are applicable in many healthcare professions. The material is interesting and relatable to many health and exercise scenarios.

    Course highlights:

    I learned motivational theories such as the Self Determination theory, Achievement Goal Theory, and Attribution theory. They all explain invidivual's motivations for health behaviors that are applicable to many job settings in the health profession.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pay attention to what the professor is saying about the theories, and listen to the examples she gives. The examples make the material easier to remember. Also, make sure to be able to apply the material instead of just memorize it

    Course highlights:

    I gained so much from this course. For instance I learned more about my self within a semester than I did throughout my life. For instance I have a type A personality. For the longest time I thought I was just a little off but she put it all into perspective
