    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend the class. It is required for SHS majors but it is an intriguing course. The professor covers a variety of topics that leads to the disorders but the most fascinating for me was learning about TBI's (Traumatic Brain Injuries).

    Course highlights:

Learning about TBI's opened my mind, especially after being a collegiate athlete. The professor talked about how football is one of the worst sports for humans. The shock and trauma to the brain can lead to serious and life threatening damage. It was amazing to learn all of the ins and outs.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and go over the slides the professor provides. She is an incredible and fun teacher. Do not be afraid to go into her office and visit with her about topics you don't understand. She played softball in college so ask her about that too, so that is fun to get to know her on a more personal level.
