    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

During this class I learned a lot of new valuable information about the United States history. Even though this was a tough class it was very informative.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were doing the group projects about the presidents of the United States and other projects that really helped me learn in depth of certain topics that had valuable information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give to students considering to take this course is that even though it is a tough class the information that I learned is very valuable. Also, for the reading quizzes that we have every week take very thorough notes and make sure that you study everything on the review guide because it will all be on the test.

Make sure that you read the chapters and take good notes. It's not just about learning terms but the connections between the terms as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Even though this course is required, I would recommend it because of the great teacher and the way she taught. The reading quizzes and projects were all very helpful in preparing students for the test. She cares about all her students which is very important when being successful in any class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the projects, especially the ones we did on the early 2000s. I learned everything about U.S. history from colonial times to the early 2000s. We discussed economy, important figures, and important inventions. It was all very interesting and very informational.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, students should not procrastinate. Staying on top of the assignments is the key to success. Planning out reading and not reading the night before a quiz is important. Also, listening to the notes and taking good notes is another important piece to doing well in this class. Overall, as long as students can plan ahead of time and always listen, the class will be a lot easier.
