    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed Honors Chemistry 1-2 because it challenged me. I found the class difficult, but manageable... Whenever I struggled with a lesson I went in before school and Mrs. Larsen would help me and practice with me until I understood the topic. Overall, I thought it was an interesting class that had real life applications.

    Course highlights:

I loved the labs we did in this class. Almost every lab we did was exciting and interactive. My favorite lab was the flame test lab because it was very interesting and enjoyable to see a bunsen burner flame change colors... I had never taken a chemistry course prior to this class, so I learned a lot of new information (pretty much every topic was new to me).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly suggest going in for help if you need it. The teachers are very open to helping students who are struggling. I also found it helpful to do the extra credit study guides because they force you to read the text book and learn vocabulary WHILE getting extra credit. They are quite a bit of work, but I definitely recommend you do them.
