Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course itself aligns right with the US/AZ History course that a lot of students, including me, took at the same time. It taught a lot about the arts and literature all through American history. I loved it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about American history from a literary perspective. The course started with the Puritans coming over from Europe, wanting religious freedom and economic opportunities and went through time explaining events such as the Salem Witch Trials, segregation, Harlem Renaissance, and the Red Scare. Of course that's just a general over look, but in the class we went into depth on each of those subjects, and then some, reading at least one, if not more, literary piece from each era.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Mrs. Warnock is a great teacher for this course. She explains everything in great detail and makes comparisons to modern day situations to assist in comprehension. The only tips I have is know when your tests will be and prepare! Know your vocabulary and pay attention to the stories you read, they'll show up on the final!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

English is an amazing course. You get to learn about the intellectual side of the world. From Robert Frost to Shakespeare you get to see a different side of people. I would encourage students to take this course not only because you have to but also to further educate yourself.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is the poetry. Books are amazing of course, but the ability to tell a story, create an image, and make you feel is absolutely amazing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do your homework. It can be tedious but it helps you with your tests and also keeps you up to speed with the class.
