Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me overcome my discomfort with public speaking. While that took the whole semester and was a relatively slow process, along the way I was introduced to so many new and interesting subjects and people. We covered everything from physician assisted suicide to carnivorous plants. It was a very eye-opening course.

    Course highlights:

I learned a little about a lot of things in this class, but mostly I learned about myself. I learned how to be my own person and speak out if I wasn't sure of something. Honestly, I learned things in this one class that will be useful every day of my life.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Write your speeches early so that you have time to practice them before you present.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it offers basic knowledge of communication that will be used in the higher-level courses.

    Course highlights:

I personally gained a lot of speaking confidence through this course. Our professor chose to put the class' emphasis on public speaking, which is something I always struggled with. By the end of the semester, I felt like a different person.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay open-minded to whatever your professor gears your course towards. Additionally, put in the work required and you will acquire significant knowledge that helps to tackle higher-level ideas.
