    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

At the beginning of the year, the course helps students with their college applications. For example, an assignment that helps students with their essay includes writing a 500 word essay on a chosen prompt. The essay will be graded using a rubric that colleges use in order to accept students.

    Course highlights:

Although the course contains highly difficult assignments, such as the poetry responses, it will prepare the student for the upcoming AP exam at the end of the year. Not only does the course assist students with the exam, but it also provides the student with writing skills that will be advantageous in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, the student must keep up with the course assignments. One must make sure to read and annotate every reading assigned on time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, because Mr. Trigg is and excellent teacher he does not do the work for you. He expects that you are mature enough to know what you need to get done and when it should be done. However understanding when you need to be done can become a difficult.

    Course highlights:

A few highlights of this course would be that Mr. Trigg allows it to be an adult in the class and does not treat you like a child but he also expects you to know how to act and have respect. What are various how to use a literary devices to understand and authors main purpose for writing a certain narrative or poem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If considering to take this course you should understand that you must be prepared and ready to actually put in the work and not be dragged along. Make sure you get all of the work done ask questions even to your neighbors.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend AP Literature and Composition because of how rigorous the curriculum is let alone it still helps so much and teaches so much.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were having group work very frequently. Working with others was always something we had to do in class. The group work has helped prepare me for multiple situations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice i would give to the students that are going to take this course is to stay focused and read all the reading that is assigned because most of the work has to relate back to the text.
