    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It is a mind opening class to the ideas that are really being expressed in the books we read. The teachers have to take your mind into the book to understand not the literal meaning but the figurative meaning and all the ideas used in tools like symbolism and metaphors.

    Course highlights:

    After taking this course I had a different process when it came to reading. My level of annotations went to just jotting down summaries to actually analyzing the context and writing down questions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    plan time to read the books and make w=your annotations meaningful they will only help you.

    I learned how to write a 15 page paper on the Victorian Era
