    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a difficult course. Being an AP that was only taught in one semester made the huge amount of material seem very broad and generalized. I never felt that I was ever truly a master of any of the topics but I received a 4 on the AP test which is not too bad at all.

    Course highlights:

I did gain a ton of background knowledge about the Earth, the eras, the soil, flora and fauna, and important environmental policies and politics. The things we learned in class helped me understand the EPA and the different Food and Drug Administration policies that popped up in the news.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you care about environmental things. This isn't an enjoyable class if you're just taking it for science or AP credit and don't like the subject. APES isn't a "cruising" class and if you want to do well you have to want to learn well.
