    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Doctor Ranney is one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, They are a great teacher that 100% cares about education and student success. She got me interested into a topic I didn't think I was smart enough to understand, and got me thinking about school in ways that I didn't think of before. She got me to understand that it's not just about the grade, but the way we learn to apply our learning with our surroundings. Shes a tough teacher, and has high expectations, but she has taught me so much.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the debates and discussions conversed during the class. When you think of introduction to biology, one wouldn't normally think of it being a controversial course, however, we made it that way. No topic was off limits, and we would debate, and back up our claims with the topics we had learned from the text; great at exemplifying critical thinking.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study and ask questions. Get involved, relate the topic to your current events.
