Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It gives you the experience you need when speaking in public and to individuals period. To me it was practice for when I go out into the real world, as my mother likes to put it. Helping me to get over my fear and nervousness when speaking to a large group or just one person. Definitely recommend every college student takes a communication class.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlights of this course were the charade and movie assignments. My favorite assignment was the paper I had to write on the movie Chocolat. I then had to give an overall presentation about the movie. I was extremely nervous but I practiced in my dorm and told myself I got this! Stood in front of my class with confidence and really told the story as if I was the narrator. I most important life lesson I learned was to ALWAYS be confident in everything you do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't think twice about taking it just do it. You don't know what the future holds and I feel this is very beneficial to everyone. At first it may feel uncomfortable, but the more you get involved the easier it will become. Also have confidence in every assignment, project, and scenario your asked to do in the class.
