    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There is a lot of reading, so make sure you get the book right away. There is a lot of interaction with other students in the forum . For sure need a laptop or desktop computer for this class or access to one, at least 3-5 hours a day. Dr.Mobley is great at responding quickly to any questions or concerns you may have, FORUMS COUNT AS PARTICIPATION , if you miss four , you're dropped. If you miss answering a question in the forum , you don't get credit,

    Course highlights:

I leaned a lot about the evolution of Jazz , Rock , R&B and country music.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It was an accelerated course , if you aren't able to put the 5+ hours of work in a day for summer courses, just wait until Fall.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to my peers. It is a class where you not only learn about the culture of music, but one also get's to learn about the melodies and messages that are being drawn to music.

    Course highlights:

Watching videos in this course was a highlight because it was a way for one to understand music in a better sense to tell what kind of beat it had.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you love music now, you will love it even more!
