This class was tough.
This was one of the most challenging and rewarding courses I have taken to date. This is also a course not to be taken lightly. Plan to dedicate at least 15 hours a week to this class ALONE. While it may seem like a large time investment, it has certainly been worth it.
The most exciting part of this course at least for me was learning about electrochemistry and how different kind of redox reactions are used in order to use things like car batteries.

Advice for students:
As tempting as it may be, do not get behind in your lab write ups. It will bite you in the rear half way through the semester when you realize your back logged two labs, and your lab score will have a large impact on your grade. While they may seem mundane or challenging, keeping an 80-90% in your lab score can mean the difference between an A or B. Also for the love of all that is holy and unholy, go to his office hours and make your presence known.
