Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course gave me a different perspective of the society I am living in today. The professor's lessons and readings provided me to think more about the world we live in. We mostly did readings in class and journal entries for homework. However, completing this work allowed me to think more in depth. I would recommend because of my growth in thinking skills. I wouldn't recommend this to students who don't like to speak or are often very quiet. This class is more discussion based. The professor covers various topics and students provide their opinions to the whole class. I also wouldn't recommend because sometimes the topics would not interest some student or other students would be interested in the topics. It mostly depends on the students interest in the course and topics.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were gaining a new perspective of the world around you. I learned more about different cultures and peoples attitudes. I learned why a person acts a certain way. We also got a chance to play jeopardy with the teacher and this was a highlight for most students. The teacher never assigned test, so instead we would do jeopardy. It gave students and myself a better way to learn more about topics we covered and definitions. It was also a more fun way or reviewing or learning more about the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should have some background knowledge of what is going on in today's society. The professor mostly talks about issues in society in the beginning of the course. Also, to understand the topics that are being taught. Students should be able to know a definition from the top of their heads. Most of the definitions would show up in the Jeopardy. Also, there is a final paper and presentation and this is where you will be expected to know about all the topics covered in class. Best advice would be to pay attention, ask questions and participate so the professor and yourself know that you understand.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was very easy. I would recommend this professor because he is amazing. doesnt give much homework and only gives 3 papers for the entire semester and the papers only have to be two pages.

    Course highlights:

I learned about sociology and how it affects our daily lives without us even knowing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

i would encourage every one to study but do no stress about the course and the exams are open book.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I felt that this professor was very engaging. He knows how to keep his students awake and also uses examples from his own life to explain some of the topics.

    Course highlights:

The sociological Imagination! Sociology class is relatable to real life simply because it is the study of human behavior in social groups.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not slack off. Although you might think it will be easy if you choose to miss an assignment of a test, it will catch up to you.
