    Course Overview:

    Its a very simple course and Professor Schochet is available outside of office hours as well. He just wants everyone to learn as much as possible in his class.

    Course highlights:

    The basics of accounting were covered during this course.

    I wouldn't recommend it for you if you have difficulties with math.

    I learned about accounting principles and concepts, and how to prepare and analyse financial accounts.

    Course Overview:

    Accounting 2001 , also known as Introductory Accounting, is a great course to take because not only is it challenging, it provides a thorough introduction to accounting which in turn can peak the interest of students who are undecided in their majors.

    Course highlights:

    There were many highlights in Accounting 2001 as students felt accomplished as they learned new information. This course left me with a lot of information regarding financial statements and principles of accounting which can be applied the everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    In order to take this course, a student must be able to utilize their time management effectively as this class requires commitment, to homework and to studying for exams. Additionally, it is important to review and read the textbook after every lesson to underscore the main parts of the teacher's lesson.
