    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

There is weekly homework, however the homework is quite easy and he is very kind and lenient when he checks the homework. The quizzes he gives too are quite easy since he tells us exactly what's on the test, and it's usually only on vocabulary which is quite similar.

    Course highlights:

I learned in this class all about how music began and in all the different cultures how it spread and became what it is today.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure to do the homework. It is really helpful for classes and is quite interesting.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a team based learning class. We worked on projects and completed the final exam individually. We worked in groups during class and completed quizzes as a group. I learned a lot about the origins of music, as well as various music styles from across the globe during this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was working in a group. Not only did it allow me to improve my teamwork skills, it also allowed me to meet new friends on campus. One of my best friends is someone I met in this class 3 years ago!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention! The final exam was easy because I participated in class and took notes. If you spend the whole semester on your phone, studying for the exam will not be easy.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Very interesting and thought provoking. I learned a lot about the history of music in this class. Most importantly we focused on the Blues' great effect on music.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the blues was a big highlight. I found myself looking up things we learned in class so I can know more about the subject. We also learned about music therapy and its effect on disorders which was unbelievable.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework and readings and have a good attendance.
