    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to any student seeking a career in the medical field because I feel that taking this course really shaped me into being a stronger student. It helped me to acknowledge my strengths and weaknesses as a science student in terms of my studying habits and dedication to the course.

    Course highlights:

I would refer it as the make it or break course because it isn't one to take one lightly. Above all, I learned so much about myself as a student while taking the course. Learning to stay focus and to not be afraid of failure but to learn from it and return with a stronger comeback. This course also taught me to tackle my fears and not run away from or ignore topics that I was not skilled at. Doing so helped me to practice more and pay further attention to those areas.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My biggest advice would be to remain focus on your own path. Sometimes we get competitive and even though competition can be beneficial, it can sidetrack you from focusing on what you're doing. I would highly recommend reading the textbook, completing all the practice questions that follow each chapter and watch tutoring videos on khan academy or youtube about a specific topic that you might not understand. I also recommend joining or forming a study group with a group of students in your class, that why you could help each other and bounce information off one another. Last but not least I would say to remain optimistic and work hard. What you get out of the course reflects the effort you put into understanding it and as long as you enter the course with the willingness to learn everything will happen in your favor.
