    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Sociology has allowed me to open my mind to people and things that were not familiar to me. I have become a more understanding person because of this class and teacher. I learned to look at the social structures, institutions, and relationships with society and an individual.

    Course highlights:

"Make the familiar strange"--Donna Granville. Take yourself outside of the world you live in and view it from an outsider's perspective.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention. Re read your essay exams and participate in class.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd Recommend: There is much information to learn if you have a curiosity towards knowing why society functions the way it does, how racist thought came to be, or why there is a 99% and a 1% determining the rich and the poor.

    Course highlights:

    - Intellectual class discussions. - Insightful and Interactive lectures created by professors which encourage said discussions - Professor is active and engaging - Much to learn and many questions that can be answered.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

However, there's much reading to be done if you are to stay ahead of the curve and do well in exams. The textbook readings are dense but full of necessary information. The exams are heavily based on the textbook readings and there is homework to do every week. So this class will take up a lot of your time

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you're into reading and learning more about the society you live in.

    Course highlights:

I gained outstanding knowledge about the events happening in society that most individuals are blind to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read As much as you can. Never give up if it gets too hard
