    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd Recommend: There is much information to learn if you have a curiosity towards knowing why society functions the way it does, how racist thought came to be, or why there is a 99% and a 1% determining the rich and the poor.

    Course highlights:

    - Intellectual class discussions. - Insightful and Interactive lectures created by professors which encourage said discussions - Professor is active and engaging - Much to learn and many questions that can be answered.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

However, there's much reading to be done if you are to stay ahead of the curve and do well in exams. The textbook readings are dense but full of necessary information. The exams are heavily based on the textbook readings and there is homework to do every week. So this class will take up a lot of your time

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend Intro to Sociology, especially if you want to learn about recent topics, and discuss them in depth with peers. it is a safe environment, and the everyone respects each others opinions.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of knowledge on a lot of recent arguments going on in the world, from gender and sexuality, to racism and systemic oppression. It is honestly eye-opening, and it cures one's ignorance of the social issues plaguing the world.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read, this course is not one where you can just go in and speak without a bit from prior knowledge. Also, the most important thing is to be a respectful of other people's opinions.
