Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is great at having structured discussions in class. Its very encouraging to participate in and never boring. The readings can be lengthy, but there will be outlines for the exams so you know what to study and reread.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about Native Americans: their traditions, war strategies, different tribes, and their relationships with the English. Also covered was the Salem Witch Trials and the different religions that were practiced along the colonies.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings. Make outlines, annotate, and highlight. Make sure to participate in class. Even if its the smallest thing, the teacher will expand on the topic and talk about some things that may not have even been in the reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because she's not strict but she still gives you work that makes you think and want to learn more about your history.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course is that the midterm and final isn't as difficult as some people believe it will be. I learn that it took the 13th amendment A long time before it could be approved.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always speak to the professor if there's anything you don't understand and if you can't do it during class hours, meet her after hours, she'll be happy to help.
