    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches a plethora of concepts valuable to future courses you may take as well as to some practical situations. However, to excel in this course you will have to be dedicated and prepared to study on an obsessive level. There are numerous materials to cover and very limited time in which to do so. The professor is great at guiding his students along, however, most of the work will rest on your shoulders. But overall, the course is worth taking.

    Course highlights:

A few of the concepts we discussed included, factoring, polynomials, functions, trig concepts, and logarithms. Each topic is very in depth and can be challenging to grasp at first hand. My favorite topic to discuss were functions because I grasped that fairly easily and excelled.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My one main advice would be to study continuously. Use whatever study method works best for you. But always study well before an exam because the class moves fast and the information learned will pile up.
