    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in the science field! We focused a lot on human biology, especially dealing with cells and genetics. The teacher is a very easygoing teacher who can get you where you need to be at your own pace. He prepares you well for the AP test and focuses on one unit at a time, which really helps instead of skipping around a lot.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, I learned so much more about genetics. I learned how meiosis and mitosis actually work and how the cells in the body can duplicate or be missing and can cause mutations. We have a section about karyotypes which is very hands on, something that is highly recommended. In this course we participate in a lot of AP labs, testing Rollie pollies, grass, acids, liquids, reaction rates. It's a very thorough and well rounded class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to really focus on the little tidbits of information he gives during labs or while giving his lecture. Also really try on the quizzes he gives! The tests for the unit are almost always 80% questions from the quizzes and 20% related questions.
