Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was one of the most enjoyable and insightful history courses I have ever taken. Though the teacher no longer works at my school, he was a delight through the entire year and truly cared about his profession and our success.

    Course highlights:

The most impactful moment of this class occurred during the mock trial season, where the class was divided into different countries and was assigned to defend either side in a case of imperialism or general colonization. It was extremely enjoyable and improved my public speaking and argumentative abilities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise other students to put time into the class and not take it for granted. It was extremely enjoyable overall and is truly not a difficult course if you put the time and energy into it. Do the work assigned to you in a timely manner and you should be successful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher assigns you work that helps you do well on the tests which means you will get an excellent grade in the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned presentation skills, how to build a website, more about history, and increased my writing ability.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be willing to do your homework and pay attention in class. It will be easy to get an A if you are willing to put in the effort.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because I learned an extensive amount of information about history that I remembered even after the class and took extra college classes that didn't teach as well as Mr. Hawkins.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course for me was when we learned about World War II and he got the class involved by showing us real world situations and doing hands-on activities.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on task and keep up on the work. He'll d o whatever he can to get you to pass, but you have to take initiative.
