Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took so much away from this class, we learned how to structure a lesson plan to be efficient and effective in getting nutrition education across to an audience no matter the age group. Throughout a nutrition science major, you learn so much but teaching that knowledge to another person or group is critical in having a successful career and this class is incredibly helpful in learning how to do that.

    Course highlights:

Planning and executing a lesson plan from start to finish. We taught the value of fruits and vegetables to a first grade class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the material and spend a lot of time planning your lesson so it can be as successful as possible.
