    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Yost is a fantastic professor who is not only knowledgable in her field, but incredibly enthusiastic and engaging to listen to.

    Course highlights:

This course builds the fundamentals for life science majors and helps students to find what part of biology they are interested in or whether they are interested at all. Topics range from the beginning of life on Earth to the present and everything in between.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework early. Homework is consistent and regular every week to where you will know exactly what needs to be done no matter how far in advance it is. Take advantage of that and keep up with your studies. Make sure you also study more than the night before. The course goes into a lot of detail per unit and it's almost impossible to cram it all into your brain right before exams.
