Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it allows students to experience what it is like to present in front of a group of people. This allows the students to be more confident and learn to adapt to different scenarios that may occur during presentations.

    Course highlights:

The course gives you the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. This course allows you to acknowledge that everyone has anxieties when it comes to public speaking and how it can be overcome through hard work

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students usually take this course at some community college instead of their university because they are scared to be criticized and judged on their work or it would drop their GPA. So my advice is to take the class at the University they are enrolled in and think of the course as an experience because it is better to fail and improve than to take the easy way out.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lambertz was a phenomenal teacher; she made public speaking much less intimidating.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use intonation, good eye contact, and a number of other public speaking skills

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to have her proofread your speeches before you give them

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is a lot of work for a general requirement, but the assignments are engaging and helpful.

    Course highlights:

Mehl is a great lecturer, and kept the class from stagnation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The hours depend on when an assignment is due. Pay attention to deadlines, as he usually splits assignments up.
