Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Dr. Ryujin is a passionate professor who is down to earth and truly cares for his students. He will take the time to break things down to ensure everyone understands his lectures. The class is the perquisite for every other psychology class for a reason; it really sets the stage for every other course. You definitely want to take it with a professor that wants you to succeed.
Dr. Ryujin's lectures were actually enjoyable and easy to understand! He related the course material to realistic situations, making the knowlege you gain applicable to everyday life. One of my favorite lectures covered why relationships last or don't (a topic very important to college freshman leaving their significant others back home). You will learn a lot about the history of psychology, human relationships, and yourself.

Advice for students:
I would recommend attending every lecture. The book will go over most of the information, but the lectures allow you to build important connections. Some of the information may seem like common knowlege, but take the time delve deeper and figure out why it is included in a college course. Some of the most important knowlege you will gain will not be academic, it will be personal, and that is what makes this an important college class.
