    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a very enjoyable and easy class that can help introduce even the most novice computer users to coding. If it's your first time coding, don't worry; you're starting from zero.

    Course highlights:

As a computational art class, this course teaches you how to make art from code. We learned how to make simple shapes and animations, practiced using parametric and implicit equations to create designs, learned how to edit color- we learned how to make a number of visual effects in code but most importantly, we learned basic coding functions in Java.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Although I did rate it as an easy course, you still need to put the time into it to fully understand the material. It was relatively easy, but it did take time to study and retain each subject we went over. Do not wait until the last minute to do labs- sometimes they take longer than you think.
