    Course Overview:

    i would recommend this course because it really helps the students how to take college level notes and organization. also you get a chance to visit colleges and your avid teacher helps you apply for colleges and get you college ready. also you get to meet and understand your classmates better.

    Course highlights:

    the highlights of this course would be the junior road trip which gives avid juniors a chance to visit several colleges and visiting the cities. i learned how to take college notes, and be organized.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    to be successful in this class you really need to turn in your assignments on time keep yours grades up or else you would be removed from the class, and take lots of good notes because they are checked weekly.

    Course Overview:

    i would recommend this course because it make applying for college so much easier. You have your teacher there with you guiding you what to do and what colleges are looking for and how you can exceed their standards. Your teacher can even be your tutor if you are really struggling in a class.

    Course highlights:

    I learned that a majority of students in AVID go to college because AVID does prepare you for college. It taught me how to take better notes and how to take notes even when there is nothing on the board

    Advice for students:

    my advice is just to stay on top of your work. the program moves fast like a college class. dont hesitate to ask questions just ask them. take good notes and keep your grades up or else you will be out the program.

    Course Overview:

    This class is a huge help with planning out ones future. You get guidance from your teacher on how to fill out applications for colleges and you are informed of deadlines. You have the opportunity to be on top of everything.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to plan out what I need to do. This coarse really helped me learn the importance of staying on top of my work and meeting deadlines. I was able to apply to colleges and experience great feed back when receiving acceptance everyone in class is very supportive.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Put in the effort and understand the meaning of deadlines. Do all your work and understand that it is all beneficial and will help you in the long run.
