This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I would recommend that you take any and all algebra courses available, any refresher courses before attempting calculus. Its not an easy course if you have forgotten things along the way but if it was something you had no issues with previously, it will be easy to remember with a refresher course.
Course highlights:
I am still in this course. I have learned that there are alot of easy mistakes that can be made. You can breeze thru an entire test thinking that you aced it, just to get all of the answers wrong using one simple step wrong. So be careful, if it seems too easy, it probably is
Hours per week:

Advice for students:
A refresher course, and someone to turn to for tips if you feel as though your missing a step, or cant figure out what your doing wrong
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
It frankly depends on how good you are at math. If you can pick up things super fast, go ahead, but if you can't, it's not worth the risk to your grades.
Course highlights:
The highlights were win certain topics just clicked, like derivatives. I had fun with that, but it certainly wasn't easy.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Study, a lot. The teacher will not always be a whole lot of help, especially if you have anxiety over talking to teachers. Using online resources are always a good place to go and make sure you take very detailed notes.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
This course was very challenging, however it provided the "hands on" experience that often isn't given in college, and provided a one-on-one help that let students grasp concepts in class better.
Course highlights:
This course allowed me to work basic calculus problems without the use of a calculator, as well as highlighting trigonometry in such a way that I was able to better grasp the concept.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Before going into AP Calculus, take Pre-AP Calculus; it will greatly enhance your experience in the class, and you will not fall behind in class. Also, if you take this class do not over-burden yourself by taking multiple AP classes. This class will require an ample amount of time focused on it.
