Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course would be helpful if you are planning on entering in a higher math course such as calculus or AP calculus. Many colleges would also like to see you expanding your knowledge in math and taking college all four years of high school. It will also be very helpful if you plan on majoring in anything involving the STEM subjects.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course I was able to better my knowledge in order to prepare me for calculus. As you go higher in math, the courses become more rigorous and having the basics before hand are helpful and highly recommended. Pre-calculus provides a great amount of basics and learning experiences to prepare you for any higher math courses.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You should definitely study in order to do well because pre-calculus is a key course in determining if you should continue going to higher math courses. Therefore studying is very important in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

People say that she is not the greatest, but if you truly stay focused and take good notes, then there should not be any interference with you earning a good grade. Her teaching is confusing at times, but the amount of collaboration with other students that is granted within the class one's comprehension on the topic is balanced out.

    Course highlights:

The week before a test or quiz students are able to get in groups to help each other understand topics that might not have been understood before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused not only in this class but in other courses that you might be taking.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Farmer is the best teacher I have ever had; he is patient while holding a high standard for his students while teaching them a lot.

    Course highlights:

Coming in for tutoring every day and going over the homework/tests were nice because I could see what I was doing wrong and fix it. I learned how to study better!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all of the homework and understand it, if you don't ASK QUESTIONS.
