Not too easy. Not too difficult.

This is the Biology introductory course without laboratory for non major. The course illustrates the principles of organization, cell structure and function, genetics, metabolism, organ systems, and reproduction (plant and animal), ecology, evolution, and animal behavior.

    Course highlights:

The foundation of biology is based on five basic principles: cell theory, gene theory, evolution, homeostasis, and laws of thermodynamics. This general survey course will give uniform coverage to these concepts in sufficient details to ensure that students have a solid framework and background knowledge to develop their analytical abilities and for further studies in specialized areas within the fields.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

The course comprised of class lectures only. The amount of knowledge and enjoyment students get from this course will reflect the amount of time students put into it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. The professor takes the time to fully explain different aspects of biology and its application in day to day lives.

    Course highlights:

The breadth of topics covered in biology truly shocked me in this class. It must be noted that you will learn about the basics of life, how it came about, the structures of animals and plants, your own body structure, and how it all ties together.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Every night before the quiz, make sure you skim over the lecture notes provided by the professor. You should skim over them before you go to sleep.
