Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. (Coach) Steward is genuinely passionate about the anatomy and physiology of the human body. He is also a track and football coach, so the application of the lessons he teaches are used in his job often to detect what is wrong with one of his athletes. He makes the information relatable to life and exercising. When asked a question, he does not give a straight answer, but returns with another question, to make the student really do some research to find a solution or answer to their problem. This class is a challenge, but is one of the best classes of my high school career.

    Course highlights:

The course is separated into chapters, about one for every body system. Dissections are also associated in the course. The way ours was, we had a dissection day every Wednesday, either working on a mink, rat, or cat. We learned all about the body, the locations and functions of bones, organs, nerves, etc.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If interested in the medical field, take this class! It will help prepare you for college. The environment of the class is similar to a college course, and the dissections will help you be ready in case you get to dissect a cadaver.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Everyone can benefit by better learning about the human body and its functions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were definitely the Bone Olympics!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, but also read the chapter, there's lots of good knowledge in the textbook that the teacher doesn't talk about but expects you to know.
