Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Well other than being forced to take it, English is just something you have to get used to. I was never good at it, but always pushed myself to stay in the higher level classes. English just never clicked with me, but after two years of AP, I can finally say that it's paid off by the looks of my grades.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of AP English is the amount of books we read. We read a new book almost every three weeks, reading around 8 chapters a week. It wasn't easy, and the books were tough, but it was satisfying once you finished.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of it, don't slack off, and always keep reading! When it seems like a lot, reality of it, it is. But when you finally finish your work, it really pays off in the end.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course not only taught the necessary curriculum, but gave insight into who I'd like to become and what I'd like for myself in the future. It opened up the classroom to not just being a work environment, but a helping one as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of my experience would be the Argumentative section. we were able to, on several occasions, work individually or in groups to promote and back a cause or side of debate we belived in, while also leaving the floor open to new ideas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are ready to work hard, and also are willing to be open minded to new ideas, this is a great course. You will not only be callanged as a student, but as a member of society.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very mind blowing and fun to learn to new things. It was a mature class and was beyond my expectation. I was excited yet intimidated by all I have seen and heard from the class and teacher.

    Course highlights:

What I gained is new understanding, new meaning, a twist with words- word play. It is absolutely astonishing. It is incredible how two to three words and be put together and mean one thing and then have those two to three words switched around and mean something completely different. I loved learning about the importance of accurate punctuation, it was awesome.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please, please, and please do your work. I can not say this enough but please do your work. It does not matter if you passed a quiz or if you got a low score on a timed essay. If you do all your work, you can sit at a C-B in the class.
