Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course mainly because it was very enjoyable. The teacher was great and the lessons never felt boring they always made you want to get involved in the conversations that took place in class.

    Course highlights:

A few highlights that I remember from this course is the books. The books were all great if you read them. They bring up many topics that the whole class was able to discuss on. The one thing that I truly learned from that class was how to write. I am not the best at writing, but that class helped me improve my writing skills to make me college ready.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice that I would give is to make sure that you read the books that the teacher assigns you because you will fall behind and it will make passing that class even harder. You should also practice your essay writing to make sure you are solid on how to utilize a certain technique.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is definitely worth taking. It prepares students for a more rigorous writing environment, but still has the teacher guidance of a high school course.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Hill gives diverse reading selections, thus expanding my knowledge of literature in an analytical and historical aspect (which was also exceptionally helpful in AP United States History). While a large portion of the class is focused on literature, writing essays is also quite crucial. From taking this course, my essay skills have gotten stronger, as well as my confidence in on-demand writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to stay on top of your work, don't leave it until the last minute. I did that a few times prior to learning my lesson. Also, don't be intimidated, the teacher is there to help and guide you on the way to success.
