    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Kuo in a great teacher and will answer any questions you have. You will learn something new every day and you will only improve as time goes by.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the different things that Calc AB has to offer.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It's going to be really difficult but never give up. You will only improve but make sure to ask questions when you have them!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If the student has not fully learned and comprehended that basics of algebra one and two I wouldn't recommend this course. The calculus teachers at Diamond Bar sprint past anything not calculus based assuming you know the material because you learned it years ago. And because they assume you know it's difficult to ask questions in class, if you need help with anything you're not going to get it in class.

    Course highlights:

This was my first college level math course. So as much as I suffered during this it helped me realize this is what my college math classes would be like so I had to take it seriously and put in the work now, so I wouldn't have to deal with it again in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the homework, like actually do it. Don't copy the homework that was posted on the Calculus facebook page (yes it exists). It's great if you don't know the homework, need to notes, or need help with a few problems. But don't blindly copy the homework. Many of the test questions are exactly like the homework questions just with different numbers.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class was wonderful and although it might be hard to understand the teacher, the entire Calculus program at DBHSICC is wonderful and they try to make it easier, Would totally recommend this course if you understand math a little bit.

    Course highlights:

We watched a couple movies throughout the year and it was a good experience. Other than that it was a pretty fun class but it got intense sometimes. I learned Calculus and it was easier than trying to learn from online notes/lectures. Somehow DBHS teachers make this class easier

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure to keep attention during the lectures and ask questions as so as they form. Do not wait for a couple days thinking it'll get easier... it might but sometimes your confusion just builds on previous questions
