    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I personally don't enjoy geometry so I wouldn't strongly recommend it. The teacher is very enthusiastic about the subject and does a decent job of teaching but the class involves too much memorization and I find the concepts difficult to apply to the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned about calculating angles, sides of geometric shapes, angles of elevation and depression, areas of different polygons, and this course introduces trigonometric ratios.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest students take their time to review the theorems, laws, and postulates before the test as they are crucial to succeed, especially when doing proofs. I suggest that students practice proofs before the test and getting help on proofs if they find them difficult.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a well rounded course that does an excellent job in preparing you for pre-calculus. It focus on using trigonometric functions, learning to use trigonometric identities, learning to differentiate functions, etc.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use, factor, and apply trigonometric function to math problems and real life situations. I learned to view problems in different perspectives and to visualize them before trying to solve them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do practice problems from the book before tests and go to tutoring before school if you have any questions. Do not leave all your homework to do the night before the test.
