    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You actually learn information that will help your health and lifestyle. If offers valuable information that you can use in your future

    Course highlights:

The highlight would have to be the fetal pig dissection or the cadaver lab. You actually get to see what you learned rather than learning it theoretically.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate on the work and don't be afraid of asking the teacher for help. She is great at offering information without giving the answer.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is everywhere you look. Knowing chemistry is a valuable piece of knowledge, especially if you will be entering the science field in college. If you're unsure about what you want to major in, this class can definitely help. It is also helpful to take this course because you'll sometimes find yourself facing problems in other science classes that you won't be able to solve without knowing chemistry. Chemistry really is everywhere! It is a great course to take to have background knowledge and experience for the future.

    Course highlights:

Ahhhh, Chemistry. This is the class where you get to be mad scientists. Well, sort of. The fun part about this class is performing the lab experiments. You get to mix things, heat them, cool them, boil them, and in the end, you get to see what happens! It makes you realize the complex world we live in. One moment you are performing an experiment, then the next moment you realize that you figured out how to make artificial flavors! Crazy but cool!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Yeah this is a hard class. Sorry guys. But it's worth it! In order to succeed in this class, you really have to follow along and do the homework. You should read the textbook as well at home. Don't be afraid to ask the teacher for help, and use your resources! Find a study group that you can work and be productive with. Finally, when you do the experiments, try your best to apply what is actually happening in the experiment with what you're learning from the class lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because it helped me understand the human body and explained why we need to take care of ourselves. The teacher was nice and the lessons were well structured and planned.

    Course highlights:

The highlights was when we learned all about ways of communicating, mental diseases, different drugs, and types of nutrition that our bodies need. I learned that a clear way of expressing oneself in an argument is by not saying "you," then the other person will not feel offended.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should do their work, be an active listener, and read all the lessons in the book.
