Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would most definitely recommend this course because it challenges you to think of different ways of solving problems. It also helps to strengthen your focusing skills. Pre Cal is a very advanced course that pushes you to think out of the box and find a solution.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of the different types of formulas you can apply to solve problems, I also take better notes in classes. Pre-Calculus is a very helpful class to take, especially for math majors.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always have pencils with you, and be on time. Also, take good notes because your notes really help you to better understand the lesson. Take time out of class to study, because sometimes you might just comprehend things a little better.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is more advanced and challenges you to think of many different ways to solve problems. You can use the thinking skills in life, and I say that because there are many different ways to solve life problems, you don't always have to just think it is one way.

    Course highlights:

I learned about TONS of derivatives, and finding limits even when the limit does not exists. Calculus has truly helped my brain expand with knowledge. We also read little inspirational quotes before class started each day.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay close attention when the teacher is talking. Also, the most important thing you can do is take GOOD notes and write whatever the teacher puts on the board. You will have to do some studying sometimes at home by yourself just to make sure you get a firm understanding of the work, and if you still do not understand, PLEASE ask as many questions as you need.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class to anyone who is planning on pursuing a math degree. In this course I relearned old information and used it in new ways, and I also learned new information that allowed me to extend my math knowledge.

    Course highlights:

I learned the relationship between different numbers and variables. I learned to recall the Unit Circle.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always take notes because it is always easier when you can look back on an example!
