    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because AP chemistry allows you to have a better understanding of the chemical around us. Such as chemical and physical reactions, how does combustion and precipitation work etc.

    Course highlights:

Atoms around the universe. Chemical properties, Gas Property, Bonding between atoms, Hybridization between atoms. Equilibrium of an acid and bases and lastly Nuclear Chemistry

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do extra work to help yourself understand better about this course or you will struggle throughout the course

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who can take their education into their own hands. Johnson teaches sporadically and the course load and AP test rigor require you to learn much outside of class.

    Course highlights:

We learned much about acid and base chemistry, a significant amount of organic chemistry, as well as a large review of Chem 1 and Chem 2 topics but we did not get really into thermo or electro chemistry even though it is part of the curriculum.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study outside of class. A lot. Re-read the textbook chapters before the tests and do all the test corrections that you can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches you to persevere. There is a quiz every 3 days, so it teaches you preparedness. However, the downside is that you have to learn many topics in a short amount of time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs because you get a good hands on experience with mixing solutions, titrating, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to consider this course if they have a steady mindset and can keep up with a fast pace.
