    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a fun and challenging environment. Throughout both semesters you will love and hate it. Mr. Brothwell has a great personality and pushes his students to excel in his class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are the lab that is done in class. Each lab is a learning experience. It is a struggle but each student in there with you feel the same. Stuggling together is the best, you get to see who pulls through and who does not.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procastinate! Expectally before tests, they are the worst.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Biology is a complicated yet interconnected subject. This class really pushes you to engage in the subject and learn. The amount of knowledge to master is daunting, but the learning experience is great.

    Course highlights:

This class really pressures you to learn. It forces you to ask the right questions so that you can learn. One of the ways that is done is through presentations. A part of presentations are questions, often thought out by students and the teacher to stump the presenters. Besides good questions, clearness and concision are also crucial to the class. A concept of biology is parsimony- the simplest answer wins. Those who can provide the simplest answers will do best.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. A lot. Don't study in long sessions. Study in shorter, daily sessions. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you need to understand something; others may have the same question. Additionally, this class requires understanding, not knowledge. Cramming will not work here. Last but not least, don't be too stressed out. This class is really challenging and can scare you out at times. Remember that it's okay because everyone will fail and just move on.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Cain is an amazing teacher but he is a high school teacher not a college professor.

    Course highlights:

The way he teaches is simple to follow through and I learned how reactions would work.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just have fun, he is a relaxed teacher.
