Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course would definitely be recommended because it let's you explore different perceptions from different cultures. It helps open up your mind and in the end you become a global citizen to the world. As a student you no longer feel like you have to learn, in fact you begin to WANT to learn and expand your mind.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course we're the lectures that were given in order to understand a new concept that was being used in a book or poem. We learned about the different tools that authors use to help get their story through. These concepts help elevate an idea and force you as the reader to think harder about the different meanings that were being told by the author. Each author came from a different culture because of those differences in culture you were able to learn not only what was in the authors mind but the elements of their culture that influenced the authors perceptions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be perceptive, and open minded. Take notes that will help YOU learn and understand the lecture, and let annotating be your friend. Don't just read something blindly read it and let yourself think of all the different possibilities that book or poem might hold.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has truly been one of the best courses that I have ever taken. My teacher Mr. Martinez has shown me there's a world beyond our school, our state, and even our country. He has shown me how to approach something in a mature manner. Also, he has really prepared me for college and my future.

    Course highlights:

One of the many highlights of this course was being able to learn about other countries. Previously we read a book called The God Of Small Things, and it has really been a great experience to learn how different countries have different view on concepts such as love.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are planning on taking this course and you want to be successful throughout you have to work for it, because it won't come easy and it will work but it's not impossible. Also, I recomend that there's as little to no procrastination, because if you fall behind it's going to be difficult to catch up.
