    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Not only does this course allow you to obtain skills that will help you in school but also in your future career, and life. Learning how to listen, communicate effectively, and appropriately with others is advantageous towards anyones future. Also Mrs. Mahoney is an amazing instructor that is willing to help all driven students!

    Course highlights:

    You learn how to communicate in different contexts such as; interpersonal, small group, public, and mass communication. Mrs. Mahoney really allows you to see how communication changes from culture to culture and how important it is to learn to communicate through cultural differences. This course is also a great was to practice to public speaking skills and effective listening skills.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take this course with an open mind and really take in all the knowledge Mrs. Mahoney has to give outside of the course curriculum. You can learn a lot that will help you in school, career, and relationships. Much of the communication and listening skills she talks about is aspects that you probably would have never considered but will never forget once you take a new perspective on them.

    Course Overview:

    This course focused on how to apply the material presented to everyday life and everyday conversations. It taught me how to become a better public speaker and express my ideas more clearly.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the different types of communication and learned how to express my ideas better to others.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    You really have to set aside time to accomplish the tasks in this class. There were many times when I struggled with managing my time and getting my assignments done.
